Who Are They

The Barton & District Healthy Living Project has been developed by a partnership who are all committed to improving the health and well being of people in Barton and the Eastern Parishes of North Lincolnshire.

What Is The Project About

The project has been set up to to tackle the following issues:

The project has two tiers. Firstly, to act as a one-stop shop for information. Secondly, to provide targeted support for those isolated and excluded from mainsteram services.

Updates and News

Community Cafe's - are now open in Barrow Village Hall, Mondays 2-4pm and Ulceby Village Hall on Fridays 1-3pm. These have speakers, courses, Internet access, and access to a wide range on information about local services, health and legal rights.
Youth Cafe's - are exclusively for teens at Ulceby Village Hall Fridays 7-9.30pm. Also, opening soon is a new Youth Cafe' at the Viking Resource Centre in Barton. For more details ring 01652 636913.
New Villager Bus Service (Route 260) - runs a circular route serving Barton, Barrow, Goxhill and New Holland. Thsi bus can divert up to a mile from the planned route and will be accessible to people who use wheelchairs. The bus leaves Barton Rail Station at 0940, 1110, 1300, 1410 and 1600.
